Couldn't see their HALAL Certification. So walked back out. But that was 3 years ago

Got some takeout last night. Place was dead on arrival. But actually looks like a nice place to sit down and eat. They have very reasonable specials. Especially during lunch hours and for takeaways (25% off). I got a Butter chicken (medium spicy) a garlic naan and some poppadoms. The Butter chicken was nothing to write home about... Sweet like nzers like and had plenty of tasty chicken inside. But the sauce didn't seem to be very curry like, it's as if they used water instead of cream... So not as creamy as I'm used to. Medium spicy was actually spicier than anywhere else I have eaten, which I didn't mind. The garlic naan was wildly different from other restaurants. It was just like a flat bread from a super market cut into 1/4s. Was still nice. But it's almost like on a slow night they don't bother making legit naan bread. Poppadoms were good, but a bit pricey for 5... $4 I think. And they contained cardamom seeds depending if you like that or not. I'm not the most adventurous Indian eater, but I know what I like and this wasn't that great at all. Other dishes might have been the cats pajamas, so stop by yourself if you're not a Butter chicken kind of person. Service was good I still prefer Chahaat on khyber pass road
