Mixed feelings about this place. The food was good and the service friendly enough. If you visit before 11pm you get a free mix starter, except it's not really free because they make up for it with the cost of the drinks and poppadoms etc. Two courses and a drink for two people came to just over £30, which is basically what I'd expect to pay at any other Indian restaurant, so I'm not sure where the free part went. The restaurant was basically empty when we visited, and we were seated near a window in the front section which had a total of three (!) tables and a bar. I'm sure they must have more tables elsewhere. This meant that there were three members of staff watching us eat almost constantly and listening to our conversation, which was quite uncomfortable. At the end when asked if everything was ok, we said yes it was good and the guy had a right smirk on his face. What's that about? What's in the food that makes it funny we've just eaten it? Probably won't be going back. Might be better later in the evening when there are more customers.
