One star and I'm being generous! Where to begin... been meaning to try out Torros for a while but as the parking around there is such a nightmare its taken a while to eat there. Didn't miss much to be honest. The waitress was one of the most useless I have ever come across, didn't have a clue (and being new is not an excuse, training should be provided). Also where we were sat meant that (along with other diners) we were getting lungfuls of smoke from the kitchen which was making everyone cough. Drinks are a pound and just come in a can (no glass?). The menu is sparse which should be a good thing but a steakhouse only offering 3 types of steak is not a steakhouse. I ordered the t-bone MEDIUM RARE with veg, rice and chips, it came out on an iron grill usually used for serving mixed grill starters in Indian restaurants (it even had the raw onions)! The sides were hiding under the steak and trying to eat this Jenga tower of food was a challenge. Cutting through the tough steak means that the soft sides under it get squashed. The burning hotplate meant that the rice was melding itself to the metal. The steak itself while a decent size was covered in the sauce (rather than serving the sauce on the side this means that you have no choice on how much sauce you want on your food). The best part is that the due to the searing heat from the hot plate after about 2 mouthfuls my steak was far from medium rare and the wrong side of well done (I still have the burnt mouth to testify to this)! At least you just get up and pay at the end as the non existent service may well mean that you're waiting an age for your bill. In short avoid this place. Do yourself a favour and go to Yaqubs round the corner instead, better in every respect.
