Been here twice and both times, never enjoyed the food and too expensive for pedestrian food so I can safely say I will not come here again. The first time I had the steamed tapioca and they were poorly cooked — undercooked actually. Basic food like this should not have been gotten wrong. The second time, had lontong but the best lontongs should have generous amounts of vegetables, a good vegetable stock and restrained use of coconut cream while the one served here had only 2-3 tiny slivers of brinjal and some shredded carrots and unnoticeable amount of cabbages. Ordered roti bakar with butter and kaya on the side but they were not toasty enough and the kaya and butter didn't compliment the roti bakar either so they are forgettable. The whole set up, the interior in general is actually charming. This premise has air conditioning in the internal section of the restaurant but smoking is surprisingly allowed which irked me the most! (see one of the photos I have uploaded for the evidence) I thought it's illegal to smoke in restaurants, especially the air conditioned ones?! The only upside to my experience was the glass of ginger and honey mix. That was it. Food: 1.5/5 Ambience: 1.5/5 Service: 3.0/5 Cost: $$$
