This is good for the novelty factor and the food is okay.
Been there several times and we had a company lunch there some time ago.
The setting is fantastic, but the food needs to improve a bit.
Otherwise very quaint and at least worth visiting
This is an extremely quaint and romantic floating canal-side restaurant that is set on the Regents Canal, on the edge of Regents Park and adjacent to the London Zoo.
The hand-crafted Chinese pagoda-style boat looks particularly great illuminated at night. This is the restaurants unique selling point, as the food varies from average to good, with a few notable exceptions. With a generally higher standard of cuisine, this could have been one of the best romantic restaurants in London. Unfortunately, it is not and things are not helped by an over complicated and extensive menu. In terms of value for money, it is pricy. However, in isolation, there are a few very good dishes and such a romantic setting is hard to find.
I can recommend: the Crispy Aromatic Duck, Crispy Shredded Beef, Deep Fried Salt & Pepper Aubergine & Smoked Shredded Chicken.
Limited Halal Menu.
