Nasi Ayam Hailam Damansara has operated for a decade now and is one of the more favored diners for visitors of uptown. It serves Halal Roasted and Steamed Chicken rice (as well as other varieties) for lunch and dinner along with other Ala carte dishes. The decor is old school Chinese; marble tables and chairs. The place is cool and comfortable and usually clean but it has no wifi nor Astro. The service is for the most part good; the workers have been working there for years and know what they are doing. The food is slightly above average quality with slightly larger portion then normal and it is undoubtedly consistent; having opened all year round except a few days for Raya and another few days for Chinese New Year. The price is reasonable at RM8 for Chicken rice; though not exactly cheap, it is still affordable for half the masses. It might not be Nasi Ayam Hainan Julin Xuan of Uptown Hawkers, but this place is certainly more than good enough.
