People don't come to Kayu for the food and don't believe them if they tell you so. No, Kayu which have operated in SS 2 close to a decade now offers a wide range of Indian street food that is really average. That is not to say that it's bad because it isn't bad at all, but it is what it is. What Kayu offers is the same as what McDonald offers, comfort and convenient fast Malaysian street food at slightly higher than average pricing but with better ambience than your usual mamak restaurant; and it works. It works because despite the food being average, it remains consistently so; like buying a Big Mac, you know exactly what you're going to get day in day out 24/7 365. The restaurant itself is spacious with really comfortable chairs and tables as well as air conditioning, a unicorn of a service in the mamak industry. So, don't expect the food to be great, but good enough for a casual, comfortable meal, especially in our hot climate. Has ASTRO but no wifi.

Superb nasi kandar ayam. Make sure you add alot of sauce. Try the huge Roti Tissue too! It's famous here.
