I thought I already knew just how good food could be, and then I discovered Afghan Cuisine. Though not exactly creatively named, the food is absolutely outstanding! It's the kind of good that you can only describe to your friends with emphasis and enthusiasm. You could basically close your eyes and point somewhere on the menu and never be disappointed. Everything is seasoned with obvious skill and passion for serving delicious food. Many menu options are spicy, but don't let that scare you. I had been timid about spices until I made friends with a gourmet chef. Any heat in the dish is perfectly balanced with another flavor or element on the plate. You'll leave smiling and satisfied every time. NOTE: Their building suffered a catastrophic fire in July 2015 and they are CLOSED for the near future. Please send them your best wishes and hope that they reopen soon. I can't wait to eat there again. It is my favorite restaurant in the entire greater Seattle area.
