HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. WOULD GIVE -100 STARS IF POSSIBLE. Went here with a friend because another friend said that this is hands down the best Middle Eastern restaurant in the VCU Area. The owner was acting quite inappropriately: kept telling my friend that she looks "Ethiopian" and in general was a little too close for comfort. The food was OK - the bread and hummus was a bit stale but not too terrible. But as I paid the bill my order came out to be nearly $20 when I was expecting something along the lines of $12 or $13...I asked him for a receipt and after asking about 5 times he finally gave it to me. Turns out my meal was $5 more than the menu price. He said it was due to some new "meat fee" and when I said that this was not mentioned anywhere he pretended not to understand me. So arguing was futile. All in all, this is an absolutely wonderful place if you like getting ripped off!
