Bukhara is a restaurant that serves authentic Indian food. Lunch is their busiest hour. My friend Larry A. and I started our meal with Mango Lassi. We didn't really want buffet, which was a mistake as we ended up waiting about 50 minutes for our food. We ordered an Onion Kulcha, Harayali Kabob, and Salmon Tikka Masala. It was nice they gave us Chapatis (thin, nutty, and crispy breads) to snack on. These Chapatis were served with two types of spicy sauces - one with tamarind flavor and other was a green chili sauce. I'm not sure what other tables ordered but the tables that sat after us got served before us. We had to ask repeatedly (about five times) for our food before it came out. When they brought out the food, they apologized about how they are busy and how they are short staffed. After taking photos of the food, we had to ask for boxes. The Onion Kulcha consisted of a unbleached white flour that was stuffed with onions and seasoned with blend of spices. It was savory. I liked how the edges were crispy. The Harayali Kabob consisted of chicken marinated in mint and coriander, served over cabbage on a hot plate. It wasn't as good as I remembered it to be. The Salmon Tikka Masala consisted of tender salmon in a sweet and mildly spicy, creamy tomato sauce. It was very delicious.
