Coming from Singapore, the standards of this place can rival those from Crystal Jade and Tung Lok groups (both are mid- to upper middle end eateries). Cooking here did not disappoint, most dishes can be considered rather above average tasting. Ambiance is good. We have been here 4 to 5 times for lunches. Don't forget the price, it's very reasonable!

Food was very good and delicious. It came me within 20mins after order was placed. However we had made reservations for 10 people via phone. The receptionist did not ask if we wanted a table in a smoking area. So when we arrived, we entered the main hall and noticed many tables still empty. Surprisingly, we were placed outside(smoking area, though we were all non smokers). We didn't think much of it as we were hungry and wanted to place our food order. We paid premium price for premium food, but certainly not for the ambiance and seating.

This is a great place for good Chinese food at reasonable prices. The decor and ambience = clean, reasonably well lit without being blindingly bright, well laid out, plenty of open (unsheltered) parking for patrons (reserved parking lot right next to the building), but my point is the food = damn good. Try the teochew yam dessert ('ohni'), or their version of Peking Duck.
