Wonderful decor and food. Service is only OK I guess.

This used to be one of my favourite restaurants in the area but sadly I feel it is not what it once was. The setting is nice, the interior decor is appealing and the place is deceptively big, with several distinct spaces all interconnected. These aren't always all open though and on quieter days I have found myself seated in the downstairs area where it now feels like there are slightly too many tables. Your romantic meal is less romantic when you are sitting very close to strangers who are also trying to have a romantic meal. The food is good, it's not expensive as such but more expensive than similar other Thais in the local area. The setting directly opposite the castle probably plays a part in this. On my last visit we had issues with incorrect drink orders. They were quickly resolved but it felt like the attention to detail in our service was lacking a little. It's still a nice place to eat, but it used to be better.
